Friends of Yankee Stables Benefit Ride
In Memory of the horses and donkeys lost November 9th, 2010
JJ, Wish, Spirit, Ursula, Cody, Bert, Ryan, Avalancher, Myrtle, and the donkeys Nester and Jack
Home to cows, dogs, and their equine friends, Yankee Kennels, owned by Eddie Little, has been a proud fixture of the town of Sharon, MA for many years. Though the cause remains unknown, a fire beginning at 11:30pm on November 9, 2010 burned through the Yankee Stables horse barn. Nine horses and two miniature donkeys were tragically lost that evening. In an effort to help their owners move forward, the Friends of Yankee Stables Benefit Ride organizers invite you to donate your time and equipment. Please join us on a brisk winter ride through nearby Borderland State Park's beautiful wooded trails, followed by lunch in the park, as we raise funds to help the boarders rebuild.
All proceeds will be donated to Yankee Stables to help the boarders.
